DESCRIPTION:Come and celebrate the Christmas season with New West Symphony & Chorus and New West Student Ensemble at our annual presentation of Christmas with New West.  This concert will feature Christmas music from a wide variety of musical genres including classical\, gospel\, contemporary and traditional Christmas carols that will surely be a source of hope and joy for guests of all ages. \nCalgary’s New West Symphony & Chorus\, a community-based choir and orchestra directed by Henric Ideström\, has been encouraging and entertaining their audiences since 2010.  New West’s Student Ensemble\, under the direction of David Klob\, is a dynamic youth choir and orchestra for students in Grades 7 through 12 that launched in September 2021. \nAdult tickets range in price from $35 to $40\, and this year New West is offering discounted tickets for youth 17 years and under.  Christmas with New West has sold out in past years\, so don’t wait to purchase your tickets for this year’s seasonal celebration of hope\, love and joy! \nTickets are available through the Arts Commons website starting November 12 (with a “Friend of New West” early-access code) and on November 14 for the general public. \nDon’t miss this popular Christmas celebration that has become a holiday tradition for many.  Invite your family and friends to join you in celebrating the wonders of the season with New West Symphony & Chorus and New West Student Ensemble at Christmas with New West! \n  \nDo you know that New West is hosting a unique concert event at the Jack Singer Concert Hall the day after Christmas with New West\, specifically for individuals and families in our community who are currently experiencing financial stress?  Through partnerships with many social-service organizations in our community\, people are being provided tickets to New West Gifts Back: Sharing Christmas Joy.  \nLearn more about New West Gifts Back: Sharing Christmas Joy. \nTo sponsor an individual guest ($25.00) or a family ($100)\, or a larger group\, we invite you to make a donation via e-transfer to funds@newwestsociety.com (please include your name\, address and “Share Joy” in your message)\, or give through our secure CanadaHelps donation page. \n  \n  \n
