SUMMARY:Oct. 22: NWSE at Calgary's Exchange Church
DESCRIPTION:You definitely don’t want to miss our New West Student Ensemble’s very first “solo” evening concert!  Since their debut in the fall of 2021\, our youth choir and orchestra have been wowing audiences with their amazing talent and energy.  Led by David Klob and Elisa Riegel\, this group of approximately 45 students in grades 7-12 will be performing music from a wide variety of genres that will be encouraging and inspiring.  Mark it in your calendar and plan to attend this free evening concert. \n \nWe are inviting all our guests to become a “New West Gives Back” partner.  At this concert\, NWSE will be collecting gift bag items for “New West Gifts Back: Sharing Christmas Joy” concert at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. This 2nd annual New West event is held exclusively\, free of charge\, for Calgary’s most vulnerable community members connected with a variety of social service agencies. In addition to a free performance by New West Student Ensemble and New West Symphony & Chorus\, each guest will go home with a small gift bag… If you’d like to help fill these gift bags\, please bring a small\, unwrapped children’s toy (no bigger than 8″ x 8″) or a $10 gift card for Tim Hortons or Starbucks.
