NEW WEST MUSIC & ARTS SOCIETY is a Christian faith-based not-for-profit organization located in Calgary, Alberta that was founded as New West Symphony & Chorus in 2010.  New West actively seeks opportunities to harness the power of music to meaningfully impact the community – including its ensemble members,  Academy students, and the people attending their many concerts throughout the year.

New West has three distinct performance ensembles: New West Children’s Choir (for students in Grades 4-7), New West Student Ensemble (a choir and orchestra for students in Grades 8-12), and New West Symphony & Chorus (an adult choir and orchestra).

In addition to these vibrant performance groups, New West Music Academy offers a variety of lessons for beginners and seasoned musicians of all ages.

New West’s rehearsals and music lessons take place at New West Centre for the Arts.  This large, versatile space located in central SE Calgary.
